ASSOCHAM has taken a Green Initiative to care for the Mother Earth and formed a Council for Green and Eco-friendly Movement (CGEM).

CGEM council will govern the GEM Sustainability Certification Program and award GEM Sustainability Certification Rating to Residential, Commercial, Hotels, Hospitals, Schools, Universities and Factory buildings and developments.

The role of the council will be to ensure the strategies agreed upon by members are implemented, monitored and evaluated.
